Big Picture Technologies Inc. Announces Record Product Shipments in December CALGARY, Jan. 6 /CNW/ - Big Picture Technologies Inc. (CDNX:BPI) today announced that it shipped a record volume of product during December. The Company disclosed that orders for approximately 3,500 units of eMERCHANT pro and 1,600 units of Smart Site 3.0 were processed during the month. This is more than double the previous high for product shipments in any month. ``Although it is far too early to claim victory, we are encouraged and delighted with the accelerating market acceptance to date for our products - both among channel partners and end users, said Michael Anthony, Big Picture President and CEO. ``Full credit is due to the development, sales and marketing teams which generated these results. At the same time, we eagerly anticipate the many add-ons, plug-ins and up-sell applications to be provided from the recently acquired companies that will extend and broaden the market reach and power of these products.' In response to questions regarding the timing of the release of Q4 and annual results, Anthony noted that these await the conclusion of the Company's year-end audit, expected in February. ``However', he added, ``it seems clear that product sales have driven another record quarter, capping a stellar year for Big Picture - with year-end results expected to be in the neighborhood of four to five times that of last year.' ``Although we are pleased with the Company's dramatic performance during 1999, we are even more excited about Big Picture's explosive prospects for the year ahead - as should be evident in upcoming announcements.
