1. lack of Floppers and high DRAM prices this Q to boot. I wonder if they will warn...I think the market will wonder...>

Dell may be hit BIG because Gateway is also talking about Y2K effect and Gateway has very little business exposure.

Man, Niles strikes again! He was the only analyst that I know of who maintained till the end that there will be some Y2K cancellations in December.

Vice Chairman Morton Topfer said he planned to sell 200,000 shares,
worth $10.6 million in the open market, on Dec. 23 through Goldman
Sachs.

Vice President Rosendo Parra planned to sell 158,938 common shares,
valued at $8.4 million, on Dec. 23, also through Goldman, according to
another Form 144.

The release of Parra's and Topfer's filings came one
day after the SEC released founder Michael Dell's
plans to sell 4 million shares, valued at $190
million.

Michael Dell planned to sell the shares on Dec. 20
through Credit Suisse First Boston and Morgan
Stanley Dean Witter.
