This ML analyst complains about cell phone prices and downgrades! Was he too late to get his clients in the stock? Need better reasons than that. Ram

Yup. Nothing like overriding the judgement of the most experienced and successful cellular service providers to determine that price points are "too high."

And plus, there is the planned emergence of regional competition!!! Uh oh. I don't know what they'll do -- clearly they have not prepared for competition.

Total BS. Somebody ought to tell Watts about Merrill's new ad campaign -- Be Bullish. I think he thought it was "Be Bullshit."

I guess we'll see who's right in the end.

Regards to all,

mmeggs

I guess that "brilliant" analysis was worth about $1 billion off of the market cap. of Globalstar.

Hard to believe ...

Jon.

Well that's two or three for and one against. I guess we will have to see who is right.

One of the recent recommendations was on Jan. 3, ABN Amro raised target price to $60 from $34.

I would also think that if the analyst at ML's main concern was price structure, it seems that it would be a relatively easy adjustment to make by the company. I agree with several other comments made that it seems a rather weak argument.

Again we shall see.
