I'm inclined to think it's
possible, too. Even in
a bear market, there are
stocks going up and money
to be made long and short.

I will know in a few years if consistent 50% annual gains are possible. Playing both sides of the market and momentum trades, I think it is very possible.

It is possible if you are long term and if you leave some of your winners alone, that is not sell half when they double, as you do .. Over a 10 year period, independent investing, never short, some year worse then the market, others much better then the market, overall 64% avg. per year...

At least that is what Quicken tells me...
