Frank, congratulations on your retirement! Regarding Substantially Equal Periodic Payments, have you verified your withdrawal plan, which I presume is based on the Amortization method, with your tax advisor? I'm going through this right now, and it is not as clean a process as you might expect reading the geocities.com webpage. I offer this caution, since it may be possible to incur huge penalties if you play it wrong. A few hundred, or thousand for that matter, spent with your accountant is a reasonable expenditure in light of the possible penalties (13% if you're a California resident). uf
