Ken Hi! Nice to hear from someone from our neck of the woods. I live about 5 miles east of Snohomish on a hill looking west towards Snohomish basically about 1 1/2 miles NNW of the Evergreen State Fairgrounds. Great view but I am at the end of a twenty+ year old phone drop that is maxxed out here. They cannot even hook up another house in the area because the system is full! I know a bunch of guys at GTE who are working on upgrading the system beyond Snohomish but GTE doesn't have the money to upgrade it like we would like it to. Snohomish itself has DSL at it's CO. A good friend of mine who is a member of SI has DSL. Fortunately he is only 1000 feet from the CO and he connects at 750K! He could connect at 14 Megabits if the CO had the correct DSLAM cards! I would almost die for that speed. Eric
