My point was that instinct can't be influenced by knowledge only by genes. Thus whether or not one knows ones genes are in ones off spring cannot effect ones instinctive behavior.[ unless CB's concept of pheromones detection ability is true ] This being the case innate instinctive hostility for the sake of genetic advancement doesn't seem feasible.
