Without knowing the exact details of the Intel/Gateway chip "exclusive" agreement I can't say for sure but if Intel led GTW down the primrose path and failed to deliver, I'd say that GTW has every right to be angry and it's Intel that the tech industry will be leery of...

Dear Tony: Lets be honest, It was Christmas Season, their very strongest sales period, and INTC favored Dell and CPQ their competitors. What do you expect them to say, thanks fellows, good show, better luck next time? I suspect they laid the blame precisely where it belonged and I am saying that as an INTC shareholder. Years ago I was the Corporate Controller of a reasonably large public company, I would NEVER have relied on a single source supplier. JDN
