Clay, I am right along with you on the paper losses. I am certainly not selling at these levels. LU is lining up the rest of the year in the after hours comments. If those are not the same numbers given to Lehman, then there is a problem. My quick math puts them close. we shall see. I am holding. Good luck, Brian

For those with multiple after hours access...MarketXT seems to have much better prices than Instinet.

Good if you are trying to get out!

Clay ... if you can get some in the 50's, get all over it, this is a great company with a great future. Their only problem is they have a product that everybody wants, every company should have this problem...M

Clay,

Think about how miffed Mr. Fun was when the 10K came out, then multiply this by a factor of 10, then extend it to every analyst with a "BUY" rating on LU (particularly Levy of Lehman).

The problem with sell-side analysts is that they don't analyze. And the problem with a lot of shareholders is that they, likewise, do not analyze. I received quite a bit of flack on this thread when I pointed out some weaknesses in LU's cash flow and balance sheets. Who took the time to check out what I was saying?

Unfortunately, I did not sell, because I expected (hoped for?) operational improvements. And I certainly did not expect a revenue shortfall. When the cash flow statement is published we will know much more.

I'm in an especially foul mood because I dearly wanted to sell in December and against my better judgement didn't only because I wanted to avoid a huge tax liability. Shame on me because I knew better.
