This IPO site says expected to price Jan 31...wonder if that is still what EB means by weeks..I sure hope they pour out more details soon - holding lots of Jan calls

Why do you think this? From what I read LU was claiming its slow down was that its customers were looking for bigger and faster optical switches than they were ready to provide. If that is the problem they are trying to fix then 3com doesn't look like the solution.

Al,

LU doesn't need COMS help. COMS, if bought, will be picked up by a European telecom/wireless company. LU has no desire to sell cable or DSL CPE - absolutely none.
