Gee... this stock it turning back into the POS it always was. Yes.. little downside but why isn't it participating today? So let's see. The market goes off 10%...and COMS only suffers 5%. The market bounces but COMS doesn't....so little downside risk but practically no upside.... I'm begining to wonder if the PALM IPO is being overrated here... as was the case with last quarter earning (where I might add I got suckered in). Thinking about exiting my position.........

I think Lucent might need 3COM's help, because it doesn't have much presents in the enterprise market, but 3Com also has a huge load of baggage in its modem/NIC business, which could scare any buyer off. My solution is as follows: sell the modem/NIC manufacturing to Taiwanese manufacture, so 3Com can focus on its newer products, and use the cash to acquire new technologies. This way, a sinking Titanic can be turned into a speed boat.
