That is quite fascinating...I knew Robertson was bullish on Palladium three years ago but I thought that he went long using derivatives - not buying the cash commodity.

Armstrong's story, when a good, complete version comes out, will be a helluva read. I hope a mini-series is made! I was as stunned as anyone late last summer.

Monetary importance?

SDRer on Kitco posted come comments today on "The 'Why' of palladium begins here" and included remarks that Pd comprises the Europe/BIS ace in the hole and that the metal will move as appropriate to protect their interests in the context of the US$/gold relationship.
