Knocking on 32 with heavy institutional volume.

I don't think today...remember AMD went up nearly 3 yesterday on little news. That's alot to absorb in a short period of time. Probably hit 32 Mon or Tues.

chuck, re:Knocking on 32 with heavy institutional volume.

Now it's at $32 1/4. Some more Institutional super buys may take it close to $33. I think if the stock hits $33, we may see a short covering rally. I just placed a limit order to sell my Jan 25 call position at $8 3/4 which I'm hoping to get back into at a lower price($7 - $7 1/2) before the market closes ;-)

Hi Charles R:

I didn't get a chance to read your post earlier in the day but you have to know that AMD is iin the initial stages of an upside breakout (just ask fudd!)...

With the GTW confirmation, look for things to really heat up next week, assuming no major exogenous calamities in the market place...

We're within reach of the 52 week high of $33...Any trade north of $33 should touch of a volume explosion coupled by a sizeable run up taking us to ted's $35 to $38 range prior to any earnings announcement!
