I just reread my post that you took offence to. You have every right to take offence to that.

Although I stand by everything I said with regard to semi industry, I was very rude and it was uncalled for.

Well, I guess you missed the point.

Folks buy products NOT because they have a pressing need but other reasons EGO and PLEASURE are truly important.

Folks love to buy Jewelry, fine cars, expensive wines, designer clothes, aged scotch etc etc.

At one philosophical level these items ARE INDEED completely impractical and unnecassary and STUPID.

Now that I have spelt it out for you perhaps that helps.
