Paul, How much blame for the technological lead loss do you put on the CEO? Grove always managed to stay generations ahead. Is he(Barrett) not paranoid enough? BK

Paul: INTC took a giant leap with RMBS they fell a little short but it is an innovation like Rambus that makes INTC a leader and will keep it in the lead. the 133 bus is a stop gap measure. RMBS is the answer to the future performance requirements of the processing demands that will be ushered in by ever increasing bandwidth transmission requirements. INTC hasn't lost any edge. They are preparing for a huge quantum leap. To think AMD is doing anywhere the research that INTC is ludicrous. AMD is a me too company; they lead no where.JFD
