My question exactly, and I'd love to hear other opinions, too. Is now the time to start accumulating CREE, or just keep a very close watch.

The discussion Jill and DownSouth are having about CREE and JDSU raises an interesting question: Should investors place money in a King to be held lightly or are they better off setting that money aside and waiting for the tornado to develop for an enabling gorilla candidate with a tremendous lead in the market?
Not having given that any thought, my immediate reaction is to think that it depends upon how long the King is expected to remain powerful and how long it will take for the Gorilla candidate's product to enter the tornado.

For me, the proposition of investing in a King or an enabling gorilla candidate that has not enterred the tornado becomes less and less appealing the more we discuss this stuff.
