What would be better timing for the STOCK...OA spin-off next week with the whole world focused on Lucent's comments on Optical or beating #$%#@#% analysts by a penny? Sheesh! John

Sector, in response to the YHOO poster.... I would be somewhat surprised if the ipo of HC came prior to OA. however, the b2b market IS very hot at this juncture... as for adding to revenue for OA over a couple of quarters, i don't see where that would make a significant difference in the ipo price. as a matter of fact, most other ipo's are being issued at "hopes" of significant revenue in the future, whereas, OA currently has strong revenue and strong future revenue growth. that being said, i wouldn't argue with either of them being introduced very soon. as we get into further preannouncements, earnings reports and potential interest rate hikes by the fed, i'd hate to get "lost" in a sea of information! according to mgmt, it's not a matter of "if" these companies are going to ipo'd, it's a matter of "when". now, if we trust mgmt.....
