I do not find God's image in Man's Flesh.. Would it then have been in the unfallen MIND ??? Perhaps, likely did not reason with error but I think more important than that is the fact that as Christians ===== We have the HOLY GHOST !! ===== How could WE have the HOLY GHOST in earthen vessels that have fallen and for Adam not to have had it?? Adam was sinless.. we ( in our flesh ) are not and yet God sends His Holy Spirit to all those whom He has saved.. I believe Adam was "Born-again" but his estate after the fall was much digressed from his original state. It is accepted that Adam did DIE that Day SPIRITUALLY and not just positionally or judicially I believe that unsaved men do not have the Holy Spirit at all - but may for a season experience operations of the spirit in their lives yet never truly be born-again... Judas was casting out demons and so do those mentioned in Matthew 7:22 but they are not Born-Again.. I just can't see God creating Adam anything less than we the re-created Adams of the world.. Also Adam "calling" his better half "woman" was not to NAME her as another IDENTITY. They were truly ONE FLESH but rather saying WHAT she was.... Bone of my Bone, Flesh of my Flesh, different than the rest of "flesh" ( Animals ) It was after the fall that Eve was broken not only form the perfect fellowship she had with God but also the perfect fellowship they had with each other. Then did she become "independent" and that is the cause of the problems even to this day. Adam called her EVE after their ONENESS with God and Each other was broken. Eve was WHO she became but not WHAT she was created to be. Genesis 5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. God named them as a UNIT being one flesh ! Comments :-)
