<<<God breathed HIS BREATHE into Adam ..How could the very breathe of GOD not be the HOLY SPIRIT ????>>>

I can assure that it was not the Holy Spirit that was breathed into man. The Holy Spirit is God while man is only a created being, to suppose that he is half or even partly divine robs God of not only his divinity but also his Glory.

Chris

Greetings Brian and all who love the Lord Jesus Christ;

<<< I think you are dead wrong in saying that... >>>

Let me begin by saying that when Adam was created God breathed into him the " breath of life ". This life is " chay " and is in the plural. This was probably due to the fact that when God breathed into mans body it became the " spirit " of man, but when the " spirit reacted with the body the soul was produced. Please note this life was a " CREATED " life , that is it had a beginning and had Adam not sinned and severed his communication with his Creator he would still be alive today. His human spirit before the Fall though " permanently existing " did not have " Eternal life " , that is the life that God is and that we receive when we are " born from above " by the Holy Spirit. Adam did not have this " Zoe " life , ( Eternal life ), or it is the " Uncreated life " that God is. God had planned for Adam to eat of the tree of life ( typifying " Eternal Life " ) , but when he chose the tree of knowledge instead , he plunged himself and all Mankind into " death ". We then notice that God places cherubim at each side of this " Tree of Life " because had Adam eaten of this after taking to himself this " sin nature " , it would have been impossible for man to be redeemed through the Lord Jesus Christ . He would have eternally remained in his fallen state. We believers at new birth receive " Gods own life, the Divine nature as typified by the tree of life. Adam never had this " Highest Life ", although had he not sinned he would be alive today. I have said very much in a few sentences. May I suggest a tremendous book on this topic written by a brother who loved not his own life unto death, His name is Watchman Nee, and the name of his Book is called " The Spiritual Man ". It is full of treasures from our Lord. We live under a better covenant built on better promises and I don't think we fully understand what Almighty God has done for us in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

<<< I do not find God's image in Man's Flesh. >>> Neither do I God is Spirit.

<<<I believe Adam was "Born-again" but his estate after the fall was much digressed from his original state.>>>
Impossible, those who have the Divine Nature or Uncreated life of God are Gods possession for eternity. I think once you see the the types of life we are discussing and what Adam had and what we ( believers now ) have , you will understand what I am labouring to say.

<<< I just can't see God creating Adam anything less than we the re-created Adams of the world..>>>
Adam never had " Eternal Life ", he had a life that would never end had he not sinned , but he never had the " uncreated life " that God us given us in His Son. He has given us much more than Adam.

This is getting long , will post more ……………………..May God Grant all to see what He has Done through His Son , our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.…., Take care, Robert

Greetings Brian and all who love the Lord Jesus Christ,

<<< I just can't see God creating Adam anything less than we the re-created Adams of the world.. >>>

1Cor 15:45." So also it is written, " The first man , Adam, became a living soul", The " last "
Adam ( Jesus ) became a life giving spirit. Under this new Covenant we believers are NOW
the " temple of the Holy Spirit.

1 Cor.3:16, " Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you

Ezek. 36 :26-27, " Moreover I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh, and I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you will be carefull to observe my ordinances.

Except for a few in the Old Covenant, the people of God ( Israel ) were not partakers of the Divine Nature such as we are now. One of the main reasons I believe that God us given us this " Eternal Life " is that all that we have in Adam has been dealt the death blow at Calvary. God will not and cannot recognize anything that originates from the " old creation ". Our challenge is to learn to hear , heed and follow this Divine Life daily as God conforms us to the image of His Son.

<<< I just can't see God creating Adam anything less than we the re-created Adams of the world..>>>

He hasn't created anything less…………………He has created so much more, We have His own Divine Life.

With our discussion about the name of Adams helper, we are splitting hairs here, we both compliment the Word of God.

I trust this helps some in what I believe the scriptures declare to us. May Almighty God show you His truth in what we have discussed and protect you from any thing I might have said originating from my " flesh ", Robert
