Robert E. Hall, in so many discussions of Christianity, The Holy Spirit is never even mentioned. Thank you for your explanation. The Holy Spirit opened my eyes to so much. It seems as though some people are afraid of The Holy Spirit. Even though The Lord said He was leaving the Great Comforter, The Holy Spirit with us. If this is a comfort from Christ our Lord, what do we have to fear? I imagine the enemy prefers it that way.

RE>>Ezek. 36 :26-27, " Moreover I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh, and I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you will be carefull to observe my ordinances. <<

That prophecy was fulfilled before Jesus came..

It was fulfilled in the days of Ezra.

I know that MOST Christians fail to understand that Men were BORN-AGAIN in the Old Testament even ADAM !!!

It is a terrible pride the Church has fallen into but David had the Holy Spirit so did Isaiah ( who is more spirit filled than Isaiah?? )

All the Old Testament Saints were Spirit filled and believed in "Jesus" they just did not call Him that.

When John the Baptist said "Behold the Lamb of God that Taketh away the Sins of the World" they knew exactly what he was saying...

Who could be more spirit filled than this poor old fellow:

Luke 2:25 ô And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.
27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,
28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
29 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
33 And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.

This was spoken of a Spirit Filled ["Christian"] went Jesus as a baby was getting 'cut'.

Think about how powerful the Holy Spirit was within that fellow!

The Spirit of Christ was within and revealing to all those who were saved in the Old Testament...
They also had the Son
1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

That has ALWAYS been true not just in the N.T.

Even as Abraham understood:

Hebrews 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.

Did Abraham hear the Gospel even as did Adam??

Galatians 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

What did Abraham say to His Son Isaac?

Genesis 22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

Did Abraham really think that God would call for the sacrifice of his HUMAN SON as a sacrifice and then be satisfied with an animal? Or did Abraham not share in the very pain that God the Father did when He offered "HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON"

Nobody has been closer to the Father in the Sacrifice of Jesus that Abraham... The FATHER of the FAITH..

Never before and never again....

Romans 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

Abraham, an Old Testament Saint, is the "father" of us all concerning Salvation by Faith through Grace !

Short blurb ... sorry I have so little time....

I want to write to you concerning Adam having been saved by hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ... Next time perhaps.

Leave on this note:

Isaiah 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
