Linda-

Do you really think quarterly earnings matter for a company like ICGE at this point? This $48 billion market cap company had $15 million in operating revenues for the first 9 months of '99. What kind of positive surprise could they have in mind-that it's only trading at 1200 times revenue instead of 2400 times? They could show some "earnings", however, by selling off some of the VERT stock that they have big gains on. This would lower their asset value below the $15 per share currently estimated by Merrill Lynch however.

I don't think it's about earnings. I think it's about excitement in a hot sector for a well managed firm whose stock price has gotten way way ahead of itself. And a lot of restricted stockholders sitting on huge gains who won't be restricted for long.

Would they have bought more stock at market,
if they believed it would tank after earnings?

Linda, how many shares did they buy? A teasing token 5000 shares or a serious investment of 1 million shares?

Regards,

Tom
