A simple way to look Bluetooth vs. HDR, is to think of Bluetooth as a wireless local network. Where as HDR will be like broadband wide area data network. In other words, Bluetooth will be used to make a wireless connection between devices that are close together, from a pop machine to a handset. While HDR will be used to connect devices that are far apart, such as a home PC connected to the net with a highspeed (broadband) wireless connection.

So, do you think there will be a CDMA chip in each device in the home or car, or will there be one CDMA internet connection with each other device connected to it by Bluetooth?

exactly. HDR is the last mile or two and Bluetoth is the last 10-100 feet. Can use them both at the same time amd complement each other.

DoCoMo market cap is 335 Billions dollars, that is right up near the top market caps in the world. QCOM is close to 100 bil. QCOM is at least as important, if not more, as DoCoMo is the future of wireless and 3G. Therefore QCOM should at least have twice the market cap it has now. Also, I want DoCoMo and QCOM merge. That would really put the fear into T, Europe, and anywhere else where CDMA is not the standard. I can see the flames coming my way now.
