Sometimes, looking back, it is the nightmare vacations that are the funniest to remember.

I'll never forget my husband lying in the dark, groaning for 2 days and refusing to let me turn on the light in our cabin, when our cruise ship hit the edge of a typhoon (Mr X says this it the only time in his life he wished for death- you can imagine how much fun this was for me.) Most of the passengers got seasick. The doctor was giving everyone shots of something to help, but it didn't. I was virtually locked out of our cabin.

We went to Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and then China for 2 weeks. The only country I liked was Japan. I would really like to go back there. I'd been to Hong Kong before, in the 70's, and I liked it better then.
