To any one on Aol or Dell I would appreciate a little trading advice Having been an investor for only 1 year which makes me a novice It seems to me what a person should do is put stop sell orders in after a large gain such as friday and then wait for a correction to buy these same stocks back I know this does not seem to be correct but my expierence has been for the past year watch a profit of 20,000.00 go back and forth for example I had a profit of 19,000.00 on Moday the 3rd it went down to 4,000.00 by Thursday the 6th and back to 19,000.00 by Friday close it seems logical a sell now would protect this gain and it has been my expierence a correction always comes again to drae the mkt back if one waits long enough expierenced investors please help me understand my reasoning of course there is tax consequences but it still seems better than riding it back and forth especially if one has no other $$$$$ to add to the stocks on the low points Just learning thanks for the replys George Schulte

Kemble, have you ever seen SI post something twice? That just happened to me, as a fluke. Just wondering if you have ever had that problem.

Maybe I have had too much Starbucks and I am seeing double?

Leigh

Kemble, would this also apply to a Dell/IBM deal?

Keep your eyes wide open before marriage, half shut afterward.
