MAX - I agree 100%. I'm in Caracas, Venezuela and the diehard internet junkies in this part of the world would kill for a cheaper, high speed connection. Regular phone access runs me about $250-350/month at about 100 hours of use and usually the best you can get is 33.6K. Cable or ADSL would be much faster AND cheaper at the same time. For those here who might not understand, much of the world, including where I live, pays for access as though every call is a long distance one - as soon as you dial in, the meter starts ticking. ADSL would change all that. I can't wait for the big foreign players to come in a shatter the backwards world the phone co's here live in here and I'm sure there are a lot of others like me. When it's available, the demand for fast access in this part of the world will be HUGE.

Pardon my ignorance. How do you trade US Stocks in Europe ?
Do you use an on-line service like Schwab ? Also, do you trade in US Dollars or Lira ? Do you get to watch CNBC live perhaps after your regular working hours ?
Just curious !
