There is a naivete outside professional sports. The things that are said in locker rooms and hotel lounges would shock most. The fact that Rocker stated it on the record to a reporter is why he's being sent to the shrink.

Ted Turner is Rocker's boss. His public reprimand would have made for juicy TV, especially if Mrs. Turner threw in her 2 cents. I don't care what motivation Bud Selig had when he made the decision to send him to the shrink. It makes baseball look more asinine than it already is. They're now the #3 game in America, thanks to the geniuses in their PR dept. I have a hunch justice will be served in the clubhouse. His teammates will know how to deal with him.
