We OWN Ted Turner!

Yes, and I suppose since Jane doesn't want him any longer, you do.

Ted wanted out. He'll stay on the BOD to keep the Braves, et al.

Beats NAVR, doesn't it?

Anyway, I think you are better off selling your AOL and buying 1.5 times as LESS TWX. Why? If you own AOL now you will own the new company, as well as if you own TWX. 500 shares of AOL now is worth 500 shares of the new company and is worth 500*75 or $37.5k. If you own 333 shares of TWX you will get 500 shares of the AOL-TWX merger because of the terms of the deal. 333 shares of TWX costs $31.3k now since TWX is at around $94 per share.

If you sell AOL and buy TWX, you get the same ownership of the new company and save yourself $6.2k in the process. I made the move this AM and freed up some cash.

Regards.
