I wouldn't swallow whole everything on a page like that, there are lots of fanciful polemics out there. But i have heard first-hand some horror stories about the Cuba of Castro. We're not likely to see any resident cubanos popping in here with their point of view.

There is no excuse for Castro. No excuse for the embargo either. If the US would permit their citizens liberty of travel and business they would stop making him what he is, by removing much of his support. It takes two to tango, but only one to decide to sit out the dance.
