Rand from the article you posted, "Pionex's Elite Professional Workstations will be available with 600MHz, 700MHz and 800MHz Athlons at prices ranging from $1,999 to $5,399. More information is available at Pionex Elite's Web site. Up to 800 MHz!, nice. Note that "Pionex Elite's Web site" is for corporation only, no consumer in this space. The most notable weak points remaining are HP desktops ( I know there exist a K62-500 HP, but...) and Dell. HP might happen earlier but Dell may have to wait till Dresden ramps. Hi Rand: Thanks for the post. The Athlon's outstanding attributes garnered the ticket to the big dance...and once on the dance floor, oh how the Athlon danced... No end of dance partners in sight now, it seems! GTW and Pionex today! Can IBM workstations be too far in the offing?
