thanks for the input, marcos. classic is having message clearing probs for me in both netscape communicator4.7 and in ie5.0. and even after clearing cache and cookies. the red incoming new message counter won't clear. freaking drag. "I don't even know how to make another page the home page" in netscape, click edit, preferences, navigator. see the home page dialog. enter the url of the desired home page and click on OK. be well, marcos :) mark

On a positive note, Classic is working just mine ... no clearing problems here, mr mark ... and loading is as fast as ever, i think .. I noticed the glitch Mark described also, but it only happened once or twice that day. As for me and my home page. Well SI has been it since the day I signed on. When all this beta stuff started happening, I felt very sad as I knew when they leave me with no alternative I will also be changing my home page. Now, I don't feel so bad about it. In fact as has been pointed out to me MANY, MANY, MANY, MANY times during my debates about the beta crud, *change is good<DUH!> But change isn't always good(like I ain't gonna go have a sex change just for the sake of change). So cheers to those defenders of change is good* If I change my home page, will that be good?
