Dear CJ: I am told the reason for the big dip was block trades by institutions. Their reason-----they are afraid that AOL who uses WCOM internet backbone will switch to the TWX cable or something like that. Jeez, how ridiculous. That would take YEARS and by then the growth overall in WCOM would offsett that especially if the Sprint deal goes through. If I didnt already have my limit of WCOM I would have been a buyer at the 40ish. JDN

Hi Capt: WCOM is a long term deal...a double in 2000! Today was "ON SALE" Gotta have patience but I never thought it would go this far south... We can probably expect more tough going till we get through the Sprint deal...could get bumpy but WCOM is quality and a core stock! I see no major problems with Ebbers - like I do with COMS "EB"!!!

See ya back on COMS thread...
