Thomas,

This internet access through G* is what I posted the other day regarding Q's Engineer's comment (from Qcom thread) on G* 28.8 kbps internet access by using a fixed terminal (dish) pointing to the sky.

Why do we need a HDR on G now? G can provide this type of service to effectively kill MCOM's total business any day and may be all baby bell's business. I do not see why Maurice is worrying about G* minutes is not efficiently being used. Just my dreams. I guess.

The question is whether the original G* license is allowed to provide data (internet access) besides voice service. Anyone?

Brian H.

Thanks thomas and WR! It certainly appears that Globalstar is pursuing this angle. I'd be happy for them to increase demand anyway they can..

Regards, Dave
