>Vitesse is currently developing four new products using SiGe (Silicon Germanium). Seven percent of Vitesse's current revenue is contributed by products manufactured on a CMOS process. Vitesse is currently developing a bipolar like GaAs process that will enable support of 40 gigabit data rates.

hey-zeus! did i miss something? given all this board's previous SiGe versus GaAs rumbling, only the Prudential post (courtesy of Mr. Edwards) cites this little nugget?

you'll have to forgive my incredulity as i've been out of the country -- missed the CC and the naz's sinusoidal tsunami wave that kicked off the new year -- and have just begun slogging through posts, newswires and analyst reports. i suppose that i'm simply mildly stupefied that it didn't garner at least a wee bit o' discussion. anyone know which foundry VTSS is using, for example?

back to your regularly scheduled programming,
