I support the state of Israel, generally. I do not believe it is an evil scourge, and am not sure why you would think so. I think that it was created fairly under international law, and that the decision of the Arab powers to take a hard-line against it put the Palestinians in the middle. I acknowledge that one does not have to be an anti- semite to question specific Israeli policies, or even the existence of a state that is so intransigent on maintaining its ethnic character, when Europe is moving towards more open immigration policies. However, there is a level of hostility which is bizarre and unwarranted, and tends to brand one as an anti- semite. Hoping, not for peace, but for the obliteration of Israel by the Arab powers is one such sign.........
