tomasso---the buy and hold account was started in february, and was made up exclusivly of IPO's that mr. schwab allowed me to purchase. the nature of these "beasts" suggested AIm would work well because of their high volatility. but, i did not have a lot of shares, nor did i care to back these babies up with cash reserve. i figured this was a "crap shoot" and i just closed my eyes and went along for the ride.
i closed out three within six months of their issue, ACDO, CBDR and AWEB. i held onto INFA, USIX and RAZF. their rides, while bumpy at times have been rewarding and now that they're starting to split and i have some shares to play with, i may convert them into AIM holdings, but i'd have to take my hands away from covering my eyes to do that. we'll see.
right now, my rosary beads are clanging over BSX and PETM.

regards,
sk

The S&P was up 19.53% for 99. You kicked butt there also.

Aloha, Jerry
