Great summary Maurice. That cleared a lot for me, thanks. Hopefully, in 5-7 years, we can look forward to the launching of constellation two, which will have the much needed (with a little luck) capacity to handle a lot more than 10 Billion minutes per year for voice and data, with very high data rates. And since it will be the first system of its kind to have have ubiquitous coverage, built for a fraction of the cost that a terrestrial network could be built to reach the same number of earthlings, then maybe there will be a way to increase GSTRF investors' $'s. By the way, maybe a PE of 50 would be more reasonable in 5 years. We'll see. Also, I think BS said that additional satellites could be added to the constellation as needed, to increase capacity. That would be a great problem to be faced with.

Maurice:
Happy New Year
Do you or for that matter does anyone else have any idea about the rate of increase of the number of G* subscribers per month?

If I remember correctly, the $16 per share earnings you referred to
was before the 2 for 1 split, which would be $8 per current share.
As a point of interest, the analyst who targeted Qualcomm @ 1,000
per share before the split, was using 175 times 2001 earnings in
his calculations.
