Linux may be a factor. But not for a while. Althought it has gained mind share, I doubt it will gain a significant market share.

I've used linux, and have it installed on two machines at my office. It's a wonderful developers platform, assuming that you're not developing product for WIN/32. It is not a consumer platform yet. Where are the apps. those that exist are first generation and bug riddled.

It does provide a low cost web platform thought. For about $300 (or less) you can build/buy yourself a web surfing appliance. This may help it penetrate the market.

Over the next two-three years, I expect the consumer to have several different web devices in the home: one in the kitchen, one in the entertainment center and another in the office/den.

I'm out of this stock. Exited at 116ish. Looking for a bottom here and then will rebuild a position slowly, in small lots. Loaded up on INTC in the low 80s. Feel pretty good about that in the short term.

I'm still looking for a 10-15% blow off of the NAZ and I am a little reluctant to load up on techs right now.
