It would seem indirectly good for CCUR in two respects:
1) More visibility for SFA and their partners/suppliers by extrapolation
2) More compatible platforms for Mediahawk if PowerTV were deployed on new or different hardware platforms.

More on PowerTV . War chest for SFA ?

A clip from the article.
Since SA is the majority owner of PowerTV, the money from an IPO would give SA the war chest it needs to better compete with GI. Owing to consolidation in the cable industry over the past 12 months, the number of cable companies has shrunk from 17 to ten. With fewer operators available to buy set-top systems, SA can't afford to lose as big a customer as Time Warner.
