Please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this article have the patent suit information bass ackwards?
California-based VISX designs and develops technology for laser vision correction, and the market maker noted some concern about competitive pricing pressures in that industry as well as continued uncertainty about a patent infringement case against VISX by rival laser systems developer Nidek Inc.

I thought VISX brought suit against Nidek. If my foggy memory is correct, this is a perfect example of how screwed up the conventional wisdom is about this company.

Speaking of foggy memory, I wasted much time yesterday searching for the comment about Michael Murphy's fund performance and could find nothing. Perhaps it was only in the print version and I was searching the online versions or maybe I'm just wrong. I'm fighting a cold right now and just can't work up the energy to page through back isssues. Murphy's ads claim "recommended investments up 60% in the first 9 months of 1999" "553%return over 10 years" "rated #1 technology advisor by an independent industry watchdog."

Regardless of his track record, let's hope he's wrong on this one.
Bob

I don't like this decisive break below 50. I was short a January VISX put and I bought it back yesterday for a small profit when the stock rebounded. Glad I'm out.
