Hi Jill Bird, This is the kind of thing that I would like to invite over to the porch. We can still talk our stocks, have our beer but hell let's all share some stories. That is what we would do if we were all together. This crap about talking about a STOCK 24 hours a day is BS. Theoretically it sounds nice but is practically impossible. This place should be where each individual can drop in and vent, play and get serious about all kinds of things. If it is considered a chat room, so be it, hell I'm not proud, as a matter of fact, I am proud of it. I will bring up topics that will stand you on your ear so get ready. I would like to keep it below the R rating though. That still leaves a lot of room for expression and still allows us to keep our dignity. I have stories I was saving for a book that I will reveal here on the porch. I want to explain todays action a little later, and trust me there was a method to the madness. I am flying down South tomorrow and Sunday for a little golf and Rec. if you know what I mean. Selah, V

Hi Jill, I took a break from the boards for a couple of days and came back to discover that there's been fussin' and feudin' on the Q thread and a whole gang of folks hangin' out on Voltaire's porch as a result. Well, your school yard memories have given me a better idea for releasing thread tensions than for the regulars to fight with each other. Someone sends Showpanties a PM telling him, Oh Showpanties, we are so sorry, please come back and see us on the Q thread; we are really nice people and your cyberhandle is so cute and we want you to be our friend. Then when he comes back those who feel so inclined can beat him up and kick him down the stairs again. I'll bet there are people reading this who feel better already. Trish
