That of course depends on whether the foreign investors will find better places to invest. 17% is an absolute number, but people invest based on relative comparisons. My bet is on the US economy doing better that other economies even when adjusted for growth in money supply. Nothing happens in a vacuum, Skeeter Bug. Face it, presently the USA has the best universities, the best technological momentum, the best entrepreneural spirit. Ignoring that, IMHO, is rather dumb.
