Good Morning Frank. always thought that the Justice Department is always looking out for the peoples best interest. " You think that becasue your a gentleman, and this is how life should be! Like a book! Right? However DOJ is not necessarily moved by the interest of John Smith in their hearts. The action of DOJ is motivated by the fear of MSFT. Democrats like to break it up so it is more easliy manageble! MSFT is not only putting out windows and softwares we buy in the shops! MSFT is the largest defence and civil contractor for the Federal government! What most people don't know, it has written almost all the softwares that controls all the computers in all the sattelites, every US Navey Vessel, on every Cruise Missile, jet fighter and every tank, and you name it! This is an awsome power, all gathered in the hand of one corporation! This maybe OK for a Republican adminsteration but not for Democrats. They want to break it up and deal with several entities, where they can be made to compete and be controlled easier! They want more than one interlocutor! Frank, I am not an smart guy like all the youngers on this thread that can discuss the technical sides of the softwares, but I know what I am talking about. Somewhere between Haifa and Tel Aviv, MSFT has its largest defence Labs. where it taps the local talents. It was built as a research facility. MAFT supplied Israeli Government with softwares without the approval of the Washington. MSFT seeing itself as free business entity did what it wanted and the Republicans in Senate and the House told them to go for it. This happened in 1994 and 1995. MSFT angered Clinton and the gang!
