Canon is investing USD 18+ million to expand its SOI wafer production.

At first glance, at least, is this not good news for WFR? (Are they not into SOI in a fairly big way and do not SOI wafers command higher margins than much of their other products?)

Well, while this thread has been silent for the past month, WFR is approaching its 52-week high, and was pretty much unfazed by the big drop that a lot of the semi-equipment stocks took in the last couple of weeks. Any opinions out there on what specific factors may be propelling WFR and prospects for the upcoming earnings season?
