I maintain that Lucents new "All-Optical Routers" will turn the industry on its ears sometime in 2000.

Dlphc: I think institutions will be buying LU. The question is will LU be higher than $53 when money managers report their gains in December of 2000? Chances are very good that it will thus making them look smart.
I'm looking at LU the same way as TYC (in @$23 out @$37), HWP (in @$69 out @$114) and other big name quality companies. I'm going to keep a core position on all of these but trade the oversold dips. I don't think you can compare LU to stodgy CAT. LU is in the hottest growth sector in telecom equipment, etc. Look for LU spokesman to be on CNBC early in the week denying SEC investigation and 7-10 point gain in next 5-8 trading days. I very well could be wrong, but I think the worst consequence is waiting longer for profit. I value your opinion, but this time we disagree.

By the way, did anyone else ride KEI with me this week? I put it on the board again Monday @$19 and it closed over $29 Friday.
