Investor snaps up eight million AMD shares

Dan great link....great news! Now we know why the stock has moved up so quickly in the past couple of weeks....8 mil. is out of circulation.

Do I hear $50 soon?

AlibiDan - Re: " The filing, on a form SC13G, showed that on the 12th of January last, Friess Associates Inc, based in Jackson, Wyoming, bought 7,969,000 shares in the chip company. "

What a joke !

If these guys wanted to buy AMD - why didn't the buy at $16.25 and $26 9/16 - like "some" of us !

Instead, they wait until the stock is in the mid to high $30's !

That's why most of the "managed funds" cannot outperform the S & P or a dart board stock selector system.
