Thanks to Dave for letting slip a few tidbits from the beta testers of the K6-2+. Apparently, he says, the K6-2+ will definitely be on a 0.18 nM process and will indeed be 1.8 V (but everyone guessed that already). The new instructions and on die L2 cache (128 KB) showed a 16% increase in Quake 3 @ 1024x768 on a 32 MB TNT2 Ultra over a standard K6-2, and the motherboard being used was a beta FIC board (was not told whether it was running on a 133 MHz bus). In addition, the board had 4X AGP support!
