LNUX.....there's plenty of
opportunity in this market. Pu Xiang, an analyst with
Gartner Group Dataquest, says the all-in-one server
market for small businesses hit $56 million last year
and looks to climb to $1.1 billion by 2003. "This is
really a nascent market and the market is just getting
educated. Many small businesses aren't aware that
such products exist," Ms. Xiang says. She adds that
all-in-one server appliances offer small businesses easy
access to networked services at a much lower price
than buying general-purpose servers and hiring the
technical staff needed to maintain them.
