I still want to hear how Tero could have missed the launch of a 64K packet switched data service on a CDMA network in a country with 48 million mobile subscribers. On the racehorses, we use blinders and shadow rolls to try and prevent the animal from spooking at the odd movement or sudden startling happenstance outside his area of focus. Shed your headgear my man, the world is evolving.

Hi Maurice,

Out of that entire post I managed to extract the following information relevant to my Nokia investment: GSM operators will continue to upgrade their networks to GPRS thus securing a large market for Nokia to sell its infrastructure components. I am paraphrasing.

This is enough for me to justify my investment in Nokia for the next several years (quite a long time frame in today's market it seems!). As for upgrades beyond GPRS... I can always reevaluate my investment at that time. Perhaps by then I will also be invested in a dominant HDR or CDMA handset/infrastructure provider and thus be suitably diversified. Know of any? <G>

Good investing,
Terrapin
