George S. Cole,
This was already scooped and posted here Friday, George. One alternative interpretation posted here (sorry I don't remember who) was that Iran might be getting support from Nigeria for upcoming election of OPEC ministers. So this article could be spin, I don't know.

I do know the North Atlantic Oscillation has dropped back to only point 5 positive (.05), continuation of the cold trend Eastern US, after a bit warmer tomorrow, is likely with this NAO reading.

No spin, just the cold icy facts, VBG.

Edit: I just checked the updated local PA forecast, those Thursday temps are well below normal for this area of Pennsylvania! Yes!

.MONDAY...MOSTLY SUNNY. HIGH AROUND 30.
.EXTENDED FORECAST...
.TUESDAY...PARTLY CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF LIGHT SNOW LATE. LOW 20 TO
25. HIGH 30 TO 35.
.WEDNESDAY...PARTLY CLOUDY. LOW 20 TO 25. HIGH IN THE 30S.
.THURSDAY...MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH A FEW FLURRIES. LOW 5 TO 10. HIGH
AROUND 20.

Best Regards,

Roebear

New England weather finally turning...

Watching the Weather Channel and its nice to see Portland Maine & the Boston area finally getting some snow & colder weather. Maybe we will get the Wall St sentiment indicator tilting in our favor weatherwise for Nat Gas.

Nat Gas prices bounced back pretty nicely last week. Friday NG closed up .07 cents to $2.32. If we can hold NG prices into the E&P Earnings reporting - we'll have a coiled spring break out imo - pick your ponies now...

$30 Oil in the bag - whodathunkit ?

Do I hear $40 ?

I am planning to frame the Barrons headline that I know is coming ... EMBARGO 2000 ! OPEC burst's the bubble ! $40 Oil ! OPEC brings the world to it's knees !

PS - with $40 crude, maybe we'll be able to buy some used - low mile SUV's REAL CHEAP as we were able to in the last "Oil Crisis"... hold off Roebear - might be able to get some 1/2 price 5,000 mile used Hummers, Navigator's, Excursions in 9 mos...(VBG).
