Hi Everyone,
It's been a while since I've had time to post here, but I have been keeping up.

I share everyone's sadness at the loss of such a brilliant mind and unselfish teacher. Dave will truly be missed by all of us. I spent some time corresponding with him last year as we were scouring the internet for stock screeners. He always had his finger on the pulse of the market and threw out some darn good stocks for everyone to research.
God Bless David.

To lighten things up a bit in support of David Letterman's speedy recovery from by-pass surgery, I offer the:

Top 10 reasons why you DON'T need AIM.
--------------------------------------

10) I like watching the ticker from 8am to 8pm

9) I think qcom will be up another 2600% this year

8) I dont like to have to do research...I just buy with the crowd

7) Stocks only go up, my stocks never go down, and this Bull has just begin it's run

6) having cash is silly...I keep 100% invested

5) I like to buy at peaks and take losses during pullbacks

4) Warren Buffett is wrong...buy high sell higher

3) My idea of long term investing is 15 minutes

2) Online trading is just a fad, full-service brokers are the future

1) I just buy whatever Steve Harmon says

"I'll be back"

Hi Steve,

Here are the details that you inquired about. I don't really know how to say this and I don't want to be misunderstood. I really don't think Dave would want us to waste money on flowers and I'm not real sure that these are the charities of his choice. IMHO. Here is my thought!!! FWIW. Maybe we send something to Carol (to the home) that reminds us of our friend Dave? I don't know, just thinking out loud.

Interment will take place at the Homewood Cemetery following the

A luncheon/wake will be held afterward at the Radisson in Monroeville.
Please do come - Dave's family and I would love the opportunity to talk
with all of you, to thank you for your love and support of Dave, and to
swap stories about the man we all loved. If you can attend, please try
to let me know by noon Thursday - but there's no problem adding guests
at the last minute. If you can attend, please let me know which of the
following meals you would prefer:

Sliced Roast Beef Bordelaise - slowly roasted roast beef thinly sliced
with a Burgundy demi sauce

Chicken Marsala - sauteed chicken breast served with a rich demi glaze,
mushrooms, and marsala wine

Orange Roughy English Style - marinated with a touch of sweet mustard
dressing and coated with fresh sourdough bread crumbs; baked and served
on an apple confit

Vegetarian Entree

Hope many of you will be able to join us!!

WHAT CAN YOU DO? HOW CAN YOU HELP?

1. If possible, attend the funeral and join us for the luncheon.

2. You are welcome to join in the funeral service in any way you'd like
- with something you've written, a reading that you find meaningful,
music, anything you'd like. Just let me know. If you aren't able to be
here, there will be a memory board at the funeral home where family and
friends can read anything you'd care to send. If you need more
information, you can reach me via E-mail or by phone at 412-244-5459.

3. If you would like to honor Dave with flowers or with a contribution
to charity in memory of him, there are two flower shops and three
charities listed below.

Oliver Flower Shop
5837 Forbes Avenue
Squirrel Hill, PA 15217
412-421-0350

Hepatica (Florist)
1119 South Braddock Avenue
Pittsburgh, PA 15218
412-241-3900

Light of Life Ministries, Inc.
(a local homeless shelter and very successful rehabilitation program)
P.O. Box 6823
Pittsburgh, PA 15212-0823
412-322-4353

(Disaster Relief Services or International Response Fund)
1-800-HELP-NOW

Salvation Army
424 Third Avenue
Pittsburgh, PA 15219
412-394-4800

4. Lastly, you can help me to manage Dave's portfolio. For now, just
leave his jzgalt address on the mailing list and bear with me while I
ask less than informed questions about some of the things he bought.
Give me six months, and I may even be able to contribute something :-)!
(Nothing like his 90% returns, mind you, but something in double digits
at least!)

Thank you all for the wonderful messages you've sent - I've saved them
all and will share parts of some of them at the funeral.

Carol

FWIW - Dave liked the Roast Beef.
